Words fail.

Just read about this. Very sad news especially since I wasn't aware that he was ill.

I remember that back in 2004 he missed some cons due to illness. He had cardiomyopathy.

It's always tragic when someone so young die . Thank you for posting this lovely clip, this is how I would like to remember him.

I try to find consolation in the idea that those who played in Joss shows gained immortality in the artistical sense. I truly believe it.

That's so sad. I have tears in my eyes. I didn't know he was ill.

The first time I read about his heart problems about 5 years ago. But he always downplayed them, so I hoped that it wasn't really serious.

I missed out on meeting Andy because of his cardiomyopathy, but I never knew/realized that he had never really gotten better/well. He will always be remembered by the fans of 'Angel' (and there are more of us all the time), so he will always be loved... I hope that is of some comfort to his family and friends who are suffering his loss.

He will be sorely missed.

I'm planning to rewatch AtS and now it will be a particularly poignant experience.

a friend is coming over tonight for our usual Buffy/Angel night (first time for her, the umpteenth time for me), we just started Angel's third season and I'm trying to think of something to do to honor Andy, our beloved Host.

Yes, I think a show could be created around Lorne. He was such a colorful character and Andy played him so brilliantly.

Long live his memory. :(

I hope so. As the time passes, the brilliancy of the characters - ALL the characters - becomes more evident. *sigh* I try to find consolation in the fact that Adny had a chance to participate in something truly outstanding during his short life.

What sad news. I didn't know he had heart disease. I think I'll mix myself a sea breeze and watch some "Angel."
