I loved your story a lot. Of course, I noticed that Halfrek is still alive in your fic while in canon D'Hoffryn killed her before the potential slayers started to arrive - but who cares? Funnily, Stormwreath writes in the preface to his fic "One Day in the Life of Buffy Summers" that he wanted it to take place immediately post-Him but with Spike already living in Buffy's basement - so he just moved him there to have fun :)).
But I digress. I just want to say that I loved the ambience of your story. I loved its balanced approach to Buffy's love life. And I loved the humor of the situation you've created and Spike's bewilderment when people start caring about him. :)
