I guess you enjoyed Season Eight more than me this time.
I meet many enthusiastic fans on different boards and I can't understand why s8 doesn't work for me as greatly as it works for them. Maybe it's a "fannish fatigue" or a "vegemite effect" that Deidr1 describes. (Have you read her essay (http://deird1.livejournal.com/67823.html#cutid1)? It's brilliant!)
I liked Gwen's story the most
I felt underwhelmed because I wanted to know what happens next, how she starts working with Connor etc. So when it ended so quickly it felt like a letdown.
