I have the impression that fans can forgive continuity errors as long as believe in characters. After all, back in season 1 vampires had their "vampire souls" and nobody complained. People accepted that Glory, Jasmine and Illyria have different mindsets although all the three were anscient goddesses. And, as Angel spun off and became inavailable, Dru replaced him as Spike's sire. And it was OK.
Honestly, I don't mind Warren's resurrection. But I can't accept Buffy the Bank Robber. And I can't understand why on Earth Joss made her a robber. I still hope that that sooner or later he'll give a valid explanation, because his "Buffy needed money to install radar systems" is lame beyond measure.
