Here's the list of fics I read and enjoyed this winter. All of them are BtVS. I tried to read fanfiction in other fandoms, but it just doesn't work for me. So here I am with my damn darling vampire show closed 5 years ago...

Author's notes: This is a Buffy/Torchwood crossover, sort of. Premise is that the JM character in the new Torchwood season is actually Spike, many years (or maybe not that long) after NFA. He came back to 2008 to see Jack, or maybe to get Jack to get a jewel for him, and ends up ... well, read it.

After seeing the grim future in Get It Done Buffy asks Willow to send her back in time to prevent the end of the world. Her logic is simple: if she doesn't die in may 2001 The First Evil won't rise. Willow's spell sends Buffy and Spike in the most favorable moment in the timeline - when Spike had a Gem of Amarah on his finger. Looks like everything should be perfect... shouldn't it?

They find out that Council plans to kill Faith to raise a new Slayer and they go to LA jail to save her...
