Yeah, so I'm glad Buffy's not pining for Spike. It's been a year, after all. And she's so gonna end up with Xander. ;-)
With ya on the way too short thing. I don't think one issue is quite as short as five minutes, it's more like one act from the TV show. 10-15 minutes. A four-issue arc is like an episode. At this point, there's going to be 30+ issues.
I think Amy's just going to be around for the first arc. I'm sure Joss has stories in mind for all the main characters; they all have to have a role in the new organization after all. Dawn's going to be giant for a while, for example.
