I actually welled up at the return of Connor and poor Wesley's exit.
I also sniffled. I was spoiled but the actual scene was so powerful it felt totally fresh. Practically on par with Cordelia's scenes.
This is the nearest thing that I've read that was a spin off and yet felt in the spirit of the original show.

I have to say I'm now rather dreading 'Aftermath' as I'm beginning to suspect that maybe the best is now behind us. :(
Me, too. But I try to persuade myself that everything will be OK.
