It is harder to follow if you don't know the story. Some things were made clear but I was completely confused about the identity of the blonde girl who turned out to be Fray's sister and not Buffy as I originally thought. I wonder if Joss is assuming that most people reading Season 8 will have read Fray whereas in fact it turns out a lot of us haven't.
