Didn't mean to make you cry but thank you for understanding what I was trying to convey and why attitudes and comments like Mr. Allie's are very very personal to me...well beyond love of a fictional character. I am a product of my experiences and currently doing just fine so I refer to myself as an overcomer never a victim. Sadly many others have suffered worse in this world.

If you really listen to the vast number of hard core Spike fans...the character DID touch something very personal in most of us in some way. Not all the same way (or even the same view of the character for that matter that's why I wrote out my way of seeing the character) naturally but far more than just any fictional character...even on that particular show! I think that is why people react so very strongly when these things come up.
