I really enjoyed the what if of this - partially because I consider myself horribly bad and being able to get my own mind to imagine the what if and write it, so to see someone take a what if and play with it is a treat.

I found it amusingly true to imagine about the only way Angel and Buffy would work through things and grow close again would be if they didn't have the option of retreating. :-)
